  • Jerry Hinn, DVM
    Jerry Hinn, DVM
    Owner

    Dr. Hinn is a Virginia native and received his DVM degree from the University of Georgia. His special interests include surgery, veterinary dentistry, birds and exotic pet care as well as that of cats and dogs. Another strong interest that he has developed is that of nutrition and vitamin supplementation. In addition to local and national veterinary associations, he is a member of the Critical Care Society, the American Veterinary Dental Association, and the National Veterinary Disaster Relief Association. 

  • Karen Davis, DVM
    Karen Davis, DVM

    Dr. Davis is one of our expert Alexandria veterinarians at Fort Hunt Animal Hospital. She helps pet owners understand what a procedure is and why it is being done, and she takes the time to make your pets comfortable at every visit.

  • Dr. Christine Bradley, DVM
    Christine Bradley, DVM

    Dr. Bradley attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate studies in Animal Science, the University of Miami for graduate studies in Marine Mammal Science, and the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her DVM. Dr. Bradley enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has special interests in the areas of internal medicine and cardiology. She is also very interested in ultrasound. In her free time, Dr. Bradley enjoys drawing, hiking, gardening and maintaining a planted aquarium. She has a cat named Great Grey Cat Talos (or just Talos), a guinea pig named Squid and a gerbil named Ghost. (Fear Free Certified)

  • Dr. Lelis Gomez, DVM
    Lelis Gómez, DVM

    Dr. Gomez was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She came to the US in high school, and received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Florida International University. She later attended Ross University in Saint Kitts and Nevis before being accepted into Texas A&M Veterinary School where she finished her last year of clinical rotations. In her free time, her and her husband enjoy watching movies, playing video games and going to museums and artisan markets. She has two dogs, Broly a 6 year-old yorkie, and Cortana, a 3 year-old 'Coconut retriever' who she rescued from Saint Kitts. (Fear Free Certification in progress).

    Erin Phoenix, DVM

    Dr. Erin Phoenix was born in Arlington and raised in the Shenandoah Valley. She completed her Bachelor of Science at Virginia Tech in biology in 2011 and graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Virginia- Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. Dr. Phoenix has since worked in emergency medicine and surgery in the northern Virginia area. She loves soft tissue and reconstructive surgery, and completed training in fracture repair in early 2020. Her other interests include the human-animal bond, multimodal pain control and palliative care. Dr. Phoenix has future goals of learning alternative medicine approaches and furthering her orthopedic surgery training. 

    Dr. Phoenix lives with her husband, two dogs and two cats. She is especially proud of her garden (and fountain!), delights in the outdoors, and likes to make delicious food for family and friends. She is excited to serve her community by caring for their pets at Fort Hunt Animal Hospital!
