Diagnostics We have a full in-house diagnostic laboratory for bloodwork, urinary analysis, and other diagnostic tests. By conducting most of our diagnostic testing in-house, we are able to treat your pet more quickly and effectively. Sonography is an accurate and reliable method used to assist in evaluating and diagnosing your pet's health concerns. The ultrasound machine is non-invasive and painless, and this method of diagnosis allows us to first address your pet's health concerns without the need for surgery. Radiographs assist our veterinarians with diagnosing abnormalities in the skeletal, cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems. Digital radiology allows us to take and interpret images more rapidly and accurately. Below are just a couple of examples of how useful this technology can be. This patient (left) was brought in for vomiting after ingesting an unknown amount of change. We used radiographs to find the single remaining dime. This patient (right) was presented for limping and stiffness in the hind region. She showed no painful reactions when examined by the doctor, but her x-rays showed a broken pelvis.
